Day 1
Hikkaduwa / Kandy

After Breakfast at the Hotel Our Chauffer Driver will meet you at the Hotel Reception at 8am Pick you from Hotel take you from Hikkaduwa to Kandy

Depart from Hikkaduwa to Visit the elephant orphanage

The Pinnawella elephant orphanage has not only got the largest captive herd of elephants in the entire world, but it also has become the most successful elephant breeding center

Proceed to Pinnawella for lunch

After Lunch visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens (2 hours)

Established in 1816, these gardens are located about 6.5km before Kandy the side of the Colombo-Kandy highway. The Avenue of Royal Palms, Bamboo-fringed riverside drive, Bat drive, Spice garden, Orchid house (over 300 varieties), Cactus house and a Glasshouse of anthuriums, begonias, African Violets and other species and the giant Javan fig tree found on the great lawn attract local tourists as well as visitors from overseas. It covers an area of 1600 sqm and from March to May, numerous flowering trees such as the fiery Poincianan regia, the white Mesua ferrera and the cherry blossom-like Tebebuia burst into bloom and flowering orchids include endemic varieties such as the protected Vanda and Wesak Orchids. A visit to the Royal Botanical Garden Paradeniya will certainly pay rich dividends

If time Permitted only Witness a Kandyan Dance Performance evening.

Day 2
kandy / Habarana

After Breakfast at the Hotel check out from the hotel, we proceed to the Kandy Temple, Dalada Maligawa Temple of the Tooth , we visit the gem museum, see a Batic factory, Silk factory. In 1592, Kandy became the capital city of the last remaining independent kingdom and the name Kandy is a version of Kanda Uda Rata. In Sinhala it is called Maha Nuvara which means the Great City.

Lunch at the Open Restaurant at Matale Spice Garden For centuries, spices have been one of Sri Lanka’s celebrated exports. Spices are mostly grown in home gardens (as a home industry) and used not only to flavour food but also in medicine and cosmetics. Visit a Spice Garden and sample such scents and flavors as cinnamon, ginger, pepper, vanilla, cardamom etc.

Then proceed to Hotel for Check in at Habarana

Day 3

After breakfast at the Hotel leave for Sigiriya and visit the rock fortress. A royal invitation to explore a majestic 5th century fortress in the sky, the most visited historical sites in the country. This gigantic column of rock, rising up 200 meters (660ft) into the heavens was once a royal palace and is today acclaimed a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. Make a grand entrance through the massive lion’s paws carved out of stone and climb up 1200 steps all the way to the top where a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape awaits those who dare to make it.

Lunch at the Open Restaurant after Lunch proceed to Dambulla & visit Rock cave temples.

The Dambulla cave temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla was founded in the 1st century by King Valagamba. Ancient sculptures and paintings of the Buddha and various Hindu deities and are located in five central caves. The original sculptures and paintings have gained additions throughout the centuries and stand monument to evolving artistic styles of the ancient Ceylonese.

Return to Hotel. Dinner & Over Night Stay in Habarana

Day 4
Habarana / Colombo

After Breakfast at the Hotel Check out form the Hotel and proceed to Colombo. On your way to Colombo you have Lunch break at the Open Restaurant. After Lunch Take a fascinating journey in the capital of the isle paradise to taste it’s cultural texture, witness it’s bustling streets, visit bargain markets, and also relax while watching the uprising urban lifestyle of the capital. A port city favored by merchants of ancient era, this commercial and administrative hub of the country proves to be a blend of cultures, religions, and socioeconomic classes. Eyewitness blessed hinterlands and betrayed slums. Your tour is tailored to showcase different places of Colombo, from traditional to unconventional attractions, and for discovering life lived by everyday Sri Lankans.
